Potomac Marine offers study courses in Safe Boating. Our basic course is a "NASBIA" approved course and is approved as a Virginia State Course. Our instructors are U.S.C.G. licensed Captains and Virginia State boating safety instructors.We offer hands-on training on your own vessel and taylor to your needs, such as docking, navigation, electronics use, and nighttime operation. We have found our most asked for training is for the spouse, to provide orientation and operation skills for day-to-day, as well as emergency operations.
